these two Eurybia, pictured by Lynne Pineda near San Carlos, would be an undescribed species.
they do not show the pair of white dots two thirds of the way along the FW costa, typical of most Eurybia.
the only known species with no white dots are juturna and patrona, orange HW, lycisca, strong blue sheen on the HW, and misellivestis that flies near Brasilia and which has very small FW eyespots.
