Eueides isabella, Guachalá (Quinindé), Puerto Quito, Lita, Calderón, Tandayapa.
the specimens above are typical of subspecies ecuadorensis which is completely different from all the many ssp that fly from Mexico to Argentina.
but, all over this region, fly other male forms that look just like those found East of the Andes (see individual variation) ; hence it seems difficult to talk "subspecies".
