this male Eresia clio, the only one we ever caught at such a low elevation, looks just like a specimen we found near Cali (Colombia) - see individual variations page.
we do not know wether we are dealing with individual forms, or with a local form or ssp from the Westernmost part of the Choco region ; we also took pictures of two males, again at Calderon, with the same look.
