the Taxonomic review of the “Probetoriformes” species group of Symmachia (2020) states that Symmachia belti is the only species of this Group to fly in Western Ecuador, fine.
but the female above, collected at Cielo Verde (Pichincha), doesn't really look like the belti female illustrated in this review, it looks almost exactly like the championi female shown in the same study ?
