according to the 2020 article by the Universidade Federal do Paraná and the McGuire Center there are only two Sodalia sp flying in this area, Sodalia sodalis and Sodalia petiti, but this butterfly does not key out clearly at either one ; Simon Plata Torres, NE of las Golondrinas (Pichincha).
