Bernard Hermier thinks this unknown skipper could be Mnaseas sp, las Juntas and rio Guallupe ; but the only Mnaseas sp recorded in Ecuador would be Mnaseas macia, but in this species the head is not green, and on top of that our butterfly has very rounded wings, which is not the case for all Mnaseas sp illustrated on BoA.


the set specimen and the butterfly seen at rio Guallupe could belong to the same species ?
